FC Omniworld had had enough ....
“We at FC Omniworld had had enough of simply asking our sponsors for money. We want to do something in return. Obviously we provide footballing entertainment and exposure at the highest level, but we didn’t think that was enough. We came into contact with my eyes®, and through their way of community thinking, we are able to provide value to our Omniworld community.”

What kind of value?
”We have set up the Omnimarket (www.omnimarkt.nl) platform – an e-commerce site where our Business Club members can offer products and services to anyone who cares about FC Omniworld, whether they are other Business Club members or supporters.”

So you are going to help supporters and businesses link up?
”Absolutely, we are offering Business Club members access to a large group of supporters and to their fellow Business Club members. The intention is for special offers or services to be made available that are relevant to FC Omniworld. It does not matter if you are a supporter or a company – the Omnimarket platform is the place to get in touch.”

Could you give some examples?
”It’s all in its infancy, but we hope to have the first products and services available on the site in October. One example could be that of a lawyer who invites new clients to discuss their legal questions while enjoying a nice football match, or perhaps one of our larger Business Club members who hires out cars and vans and is prepared to grant Omnimarket visitors extra benefits.”

So everyone can gain from omnimarkt.nl?
”We are concentrating on Flevoland; we want to involve the supporters and everyone who lives in Flevoland with the club. We provide the sport, the entertainment – that is our core business. With Omnimarket we have created a business model with which we can market this more effectively.”
