Partners+Pröpper is an administration research consultancy bureau specialising in surveys for auditors’ offices and advising government institutions on increasing civic participation. To this end, a team of consultants is active throughout the Netherlands.

Partners+Pröpper approached my eyes to ask for support in connecting the consultancy’s internal ICT with its organisational processes. The my eyes Organisation Network principle fitted in beautifully with Partners+Pröpper’s request, since it will ensure the following:

• Staff have a project data system at their disposal which can be accessed at all workplaces (at the office or with clients);
• All information is stored on the basis of each project, not only documents in the document management system but also e-mails and all other specific project data (client details, contacts, offers, registrations, etc.)
• Clients (municipalities) also have access to client details within the same project environment, which is an Extranet in a technical sense. This is intended to increase client participation.

my eyes has helped Partners+Pröpper to achieve their objectives. One of these objectives is increasing civic participation in government activities. The client (the government) itself has now become more closely involved in the project, since it can directly access the project data. Partners+Pröpper can also use this to adopt a more open and vulnerable attitude. This transparency, and bringing “consumers” and “producers” closer together, are the propagators of the my eyes vision which have been applied in practice in the above case.
